Sweet success for our Race for Life cake sale

One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so every donation really does help Cancer Research UK towards beating cancer.

We ended up raising over £150 and got to taste some delicious sweet and savoury delights too. From a Swedish Princess cake to butterfly cakes, cheese scones, raspberry cheesecake and marble swirl chocolate cakes, our star bakers from across the studio really pulled all the stops out for this charity cake sale.

£150 can go towards a new bunsen burner, to help support the scientists working on ground-breaking research, as well as special research enzymes which will cut up the long strands of DNA in our cells, or it could buy 25 essential chemical kits for day-to-day experiments.
