Project Overview
Based on the thriller Three Seconds by Swedish crime writers Roslund/Hellström, The Informer is a riveting crime film directed by Andrea Di Stefano.
Starring Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike and Clive Owen, The Informer focuses on ex-con and former special ops soldier Pete Koslow, an undercover agent. When Pete’s mission to infiltrate a Polish mob goes wrong, he finds himself on the wrong side of both the law and the mob.
We were delighted to work on the film across a variety of shots, ranging from a CG prison and vehicles to digital matte paintings, window replacements and more.
“Working on the Informer was a great experience for the team at Outpost,” says Andy Burrow, Head of Production, UK.
"We did everything from small paintouts to huge CG work which included a fully CG prison with CG guards and inmates and a helicopter."
“We also did extensive background work on the exteriors seen from the window in the HVAC building for the very tense final sequence.
“Our relationship with the producer and director was very creative and collaborative, and we had a lot of input into how the final shots would be constructed.”
The Informer is in UK cinemas now, with a US release date of 10 January 2020.
