Richard Clegg

Executive Creative Director

Best known for bringing the Oscar-winning Rachael digi double to life for Blade Runner 2049, Richard has been a key figure of the VFX teams behind some of the most technically accomplished and visually arresting films of the last decade.

As Executive Creative Director and VFX Supervisor at Outpost VFX, Richard provides the global team with senior creative oversight when he isn't working as a VFX Supervisor either in-house or production-side. Equally at home on set working closely with the Director, DOP and wider creative team as he is in the studio at the helm of a substantial in-house artist team, Richard has a proven track record for delivering industry-leading visual effects on 1,000 shot film projects.

Beyond his well-known work on Blade Runner 2049, Richard's other career highlights include the spectacular full-CG 'Young Arnie' in Terminator Genisys, the ghostly pirate crew in Pirates of the Caribbean and the vast collection of vivid fantasy environments in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

Andrew Morley

Head of VFX

Known industry-wide for his expertise in animation, on-set supervision and in-house creative direction, Andy has been a fixture of the VFX community for 20 years.

In that time he has worked with renowned studios like ILM, LucasFilm, The Imaginarium and Framestore in various locations around the world. His career journey has seen him expertly deliver complex visual effects projects in London, Singapore, Canada and beyond.

Andy is focused on providing a hands-on approach on set to help you get the most from VFX provision, and his intimate understanding of character performance and animation ensure both efficiency and creative flair back in the studio.

In a career littered with highlights, standout roles include VFX Supervisor on Avengers: Infinity War, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Dredd.

Roni Rodrigues

VFX Supervisor

Over the course of a 15-year career in film and episodic productions, Roni has become a knowledgable, pragmatic and truly personable VFX Supervisor with the rare ability to achieve an instant rapport with filmmakers.

Currently production-side VFX Supervisor on the upcoming Western epic from Universal, News of the World, Roni has been working side-by-side with Director Paul Greengrass and actor / producer Tom Hanks, having supervised the shoot in New Mexico. Set for release in late 2020, the film embodies the full gamut of visual effects provision including full-CG environments, high-end water simulation, DMP, face replacements and creatures.

Roni's reputation for going above and beyond has made him a firm favourite amongst the Directors he's worked with. While at Outpost VFX, he has supervised visual effects in-house for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (Universal) and The Green Knight (A24).

A Masters graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School in London, Roni began his film career in his native Brazil where he cut his teeth on the breakout hits Elite Squad and City of God.

Ian is a well-known and well-respected figure in the UK VFX community. With over 50 credits on high-end features dating back to the late 1990s, Ian has a unique connection to hundreds of talented artists through his background as an educator at Arts University Bournemouth's respected Film School.

Ian's past exploits include heading up Framestore's satellite studio on the UK's south coast, as well as senior creative roles on AAA studio features including the Paddington films, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Thor: Ragnarok, The Martian and the Harry Potter franchise.

Currently serving as in-house VFX Supervisor on the upcoming Tom Hanks Western, News of the World (Universal), Ian has also supervised complex historical work for Catherine the Great (HBO) and character sequences for Black Mirror (Netflix).

Filip Sustek

VFX Supervisor

Filip has been a key fixture of the VFX teams behind tentpole films like Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Mary Poppins Returns, while working at some of the top visual effects studios in the world.

As Compositing Supervisor on Blade Runner 2049, Filip oversaw the seamless integration of futuristic landscapes and elements that made that film the stunning achievement it was. He also worked on the Rachael digital human, which pushed the envelope on CG human performance and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. He has over a decade’s experience working across TV and film in multiple countries.

His time at Outpost VFX has seen him take the reins on the Netflix fantasy series, Locke & Key, and two episodes of the Apple TV+ sci-fi epic, See.

Marcin Kolendo

VFX Supervisor

At Outpost, Marcin has worked as in-house VFX Supervisor on Nocturnal Animals (Focus Features), Jason Bourne (Universal) and, more recently, Paul Greengrass’s 22 July (Netflix). Marcin is well known for his pragmatism on set – he understands the needs of all departments in production and works to ensure that any VFX complements both the shoot and the final quality of the film.

His work as an on-set VFX Supervisor has seen him travel to diverse locations around the world, providing an indispensable link between our team in the studio and the crew on location.

Prior to joining us, Marcin lead compositing supervision at DNEG across the Jason Bourne films, and lent his skill to major franchises including Harry Potter and Iron Man. Other career highlights include John Carter, Rush, Snow White and the Huntsman and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

David Sadler-Coppard

VFX Supervisor

A fiercely creative VFX Supervisor, David specialises in guiding projects from script right through to final delivery. His deep understanding of light and composition have made him a valuable ally on location, and a knack for taking abstract visual ideas and bringing them to life on screen has made him very popular with Directors of projects like Electric Dreams and One Strange Rock.

His unmistakeable talent led to him serving as overall VFX Supervisor on the Netflix film iBoy where he lead the VFX creative from pre-production right through to final delivery, incorporating motion graphics, FX, and design of the film's title sequence. He has since lead the BAFTA-winning Under the Shadow, The ABC Murders, Mars and Widows.

As well as a passion for working with independent filmmakers, David has also brought his talent to bear on major studio features including Life and Jason Bourne. Recently, he was on-set VFX Supervisor on an episode of the HBO historical drama, Catherine the Great and in-house VFX Supervisor on the upcoming A24 film, The Green Knight.

With a deep knowledge of filmmaking, ability to lead large teams and a passion for photography and composition, Cale has over a decade of visual effects and animation experience.

His recent work at Outpost VFX saw him supervise highly complex creature work for the Michael Winterbottom film Greed, delivered against a very challenging budget and timescale. Experienced as an on-set VFX Supervisor for film and episodic work like Electric Dreams, Cale's in-house supervisory credits include Black Widow (Marvel), Catherine the Great (HBO), Curfew (Sky) and Life (Skydance).

Prior to joining Outpost VFX in 2017, Cale worked at studios like including Rise where he worked on Doctor Strange for Marvel.

Maurizio has 15 years of experience working in high-end visual effects, specialising in character work, animation and CG supervision. He has been instrumental to the creation of a wide variety of highly complex 3D characters and creatures for AAA features and animated films including Avengers: Infinity War, Doctor Strange, A Monster Calls, Star Trek and John Carter.

A deep knowledge of creature FX, rigging, animation and technical direction for characters of all shapes and sizes makes Maurizio an indispensable part of our global 3D team, with his creative talents and knack for problem solving contributing greatly to the highly-complex cattle battle sequence Outpost recently delivered for HBO's Watchmen.

Currently CG Supervisor on News of the World for Universal, Craig began his FX career in style working on the Academy Award winning Interstellar with Christopher Nolan.

Since then, he’s brought his extensive knowledge to bear on fur simulation in The Lion King, eerie pearlescent effects in Alex Garland’s Annihilation, the horrors of war in Dunkirk and exploding cattle and battle effects for HBO’s Watchmen.

Craig's nuanced technical understanding of FX and dynamics has been evident in some of the most visually impressive studio features of the last decade.

Himanshu has an incredible back catalogue of experience in lighting, look dev and texturing as well as extensive hands-on production experience in long-form CG animation and VFX for feature films.

Prior to joining Outpost, he led the lighting team at MPC on VFX-heavy feature films including Justice League, Alien: Covenant and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. His additional credits include X-Men: Apocalypse and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales at MPC and Cinesite.

Since joining Outpost his lighting prowess has been key to the smooth delivery of CG environments for See (Apple TV+), Locke & Key (Netflix) and The Alienist: Angel of Darkness (Paramount).

A veteran of over 70 film and episodic productions, Luke has worked at London's most illustrious VFX studios in a career spanning nearly 15 years.

As a 2D Supervisor, Luke provides leadership to our team of compositors and DMP artists in the UK, reinforced by experience on shows of all sizes ranging from AAA features like Interstellar to nuanced indies including Steve McQueen's Shame and Mike Leigh's Peterloo.

Following productive spells at DNEG, MPC and LipSync, Luke joined Outpost VFX in 2019 and has supervised compositing on complex creature work for Greed (Sony) and Watchmen (HBO).
