It's been ten years since the Watchmen film brought the comic book series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons to the silverscreen, and now Lost and The Leftovers creator Damon Lindelof is bringing the cult series to high-end television.

HBO has released a teaser trailer for the new drama, which sees the likes of Regina Hall, Don Johnson, Jeremy Irons and Tim Blake Nelson in an alternate, dystopian world where superheroes are treated as outlaws.

Lindelof says that the story of Watchmen is "set in the world its creators painstakingly built… but in the tradition of the work that inspired it, this new story must be original".

Outpost VFX is thrilled to be a part of the Watchmen TV series, and can't wait for the show to premiere later this year.
