Project Overview
Season 2 of National Geographic's popular drama / documentary, Mars, hit screens on 12 November.
We were really grateful to be invited by Framestore to work closely with them across two episodes of the show, with plenty of interesting set extension shots for us to sink our teeth into during the summer.
This is the second time we've worked with Framestore on a Nat Geo production, having worked on several full-CG sequences for the documentary series One Strange Rock earlier in 2018.
Produced by Imagine Entertainment and RadicalMedia, Mars tells the story of humans attempting to colonise the red planet while interspersing the drama with talking heads interviews featuring famous faces from the science world such as Andy Weir and Robert Zubrin.
