Snow White VFX Supervisor Sebastien Raets Joins Outpost

Raets will be based at Outpost VFX’s London studio. He was most recently VFX Supervisor at MPC, during which time he oversaw the delivery of over 900 visual effects shots for ‘Snow White’.

Said Raets: “It’s great to be here surrounded by such a high-calibre creative team, many of whom I’ve known for years. I was impressed by Outpost’s future plans and approach to client service, and it’s already looking like a very busy year ahead with many new shows landing in London. I’m hoping I can bring even more experience to the table and really give our clients confidence that we have the team to deliver projects of any scale.”

Raets’ career has seen him deliver several large-scale feature productions from leadership positions, including ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, for which he was part of the team that created the Ghost Spengler character.

He joins Outpost VFX as the company continues to expand its UK footprint in response to increasing demand for its services in the region, buoyed by the recent VFX tax credit uplift. The team has recently delivered work for Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’, as well as the Guy Ritchie adventure ‘Fountain of Youth’ and Marvel Studios’ ‘Captain America: Brave New World’.

Raets joins a growing cohort of senior artists that have moved to Outpost VFX from the renowned MPC feature team, which was key to the delivery of multiple award-winning projects including The Lion King, Blade Runner 2049 and The Jungle Book.
