We’ve been recently supporting Dorset-based charity, Creative Kids, which invests in children’s creativity.
Creative Kids is an award-winning charity that gives children free access to the arts and helps to grow the confidence of budding artists. From activities such as dance, drama, puppetry, film, music, craft, oil painting and watercolours to 3D printing and sculpting, VR and coding, there’s a diverse range of traditional and digtal arts covered to inspire the youngsters.
We recognise the creative potential in children, and want to be a part in building the generation of tomorrow – that’s why it’s so important for us to support initiatives like Creative Kids.
We’ve raised over £120 this year so far as part of a donation box, and will be regularly donating to the charity.
"Creative Kids are extremely grateful to the generous team of staff at Outpost VFX for raising funds in the office and donating it all to our Arts Education Charity in Bournemouth," said Cary Lightfoot, founder of Creative Kids. "Every penny will go towards teaching children and young people digital arts after school."
Some of the donations has been going into the day-to-day running of the after-school clubs, on art materials and iPad apps that help the children to discover new skills and work towards an Arts Award.
