Oscars 2026 Shortlist: 3 Outpost VFX Projects Progress To Next Round

Sinners, Ryan Coogler's highly-rated supernatural film, has made the list after garnering a lot of attention across the board in major awards categories.

Wicked: For Good, which brings to a close the musical story of the witches Elphaba and Glinda, also makes the list as well as a host of other shortlist appearances above and below the line.

Finally, Paul Greengrass's disaster thriller The Lost Bus also makes the cut, featuring a significant amount of highly complext VFX from the first minute to the end credits.

With three films on the shortlist, Outpost VFX participated in the joint-second most shortlisted projects for visual effects across all shortlisted vendor participants.

Nominations land in January.
