Outpost to Sponsor the Rookie Awards 2021

Outpost is delighted to be sponsoring the 2021 edition of the Rookie Awards.

The most well known competition for emerging talent in the VFX, animation and games sectors, the Rookie Awards also feature Outpost team members as judges.

Becca Scott (Managing Director, Montreal) and Richard Clegg (Executive Creative Director / VFX Supervisor) will join a prestigious roster of well known artists and business leaders to pick the best from thousands of anticipated entries.

This is the third year Outpost has sponsored the Rookie Awards, and the third time Becca Scott has been invited to be a judge for the competition. As part of our sponsorship for 2021, we will be offering exclusive one-to-one mentoring with one of our senior artists for one of the category winners.

Formerly known as the CG Student Awards, the Rookie Awards debuted back in 2010. Alongside crowning indivual winners across multiple categories, every year the Rookies team publishes a league table of the best performing computer graphics schools in the world.
