Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced DMP artist to work on a highly anticipated feature film. If you have a flare for creating stunning photoreal landscapes and have experience working in a VFX environment then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities and Duties
Digital Matte Painters are responsible for painting photoreal environments, textures and elements into live-action plates or as individual DMP plates.

Required Skills

  • Strong Photoshop skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Nuke.
  • Experience of producing high-quality landscapes and environments for HE Film/TV.
  • A keen eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.
  • Thorough understanding of compositing/DMP techniques.
  • Able to understand and apply shot notes.
  • Experience using Shotgun.

Desirable Skills

  • Basic understanding of modelling in Maya.
  • Python/MEL.

About You

  • Avid interest in photography, practical lighting and cinematography.
  • Independent problem solver.
  • Able to share knowledge and techniques with other artists.
  • Participate in creative and technical discussions.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years high-end film, TV or commercial industry experience.
